What is Lead scoring?

Ranking leads by likelihood to convert

Lead scoring assigns a numeric value to each lead based on demographic fit and engagement behavior. Modern lead scoring uses AI to weight signals dynamically — site visits, email opens, content downloads — instead of a hand-tuned points table.

Why it matters

Without scoring, reps work the leads that look like recent activity rather than the leads most likely to close.
